The Why
Dr. Wes Moore founded Prophet Scholar after years of finding both American unbelievers and American Christians unwilling to accept the authoritative, contextually understood teachings of the Bible.
His nearly 30 years in ministry have shown him that those within the church and those outside of it have blatantly, thoroughly, and continually rejected the Bible's teachings in nearly every area of life.
This generational rebellion has led the nation to the brink of God's catastrophic judgment upon it.
Dr. Moore's teachings have caused him to be rejected by most Christian churches, organizations, and leaders.
Prophet Scholar is his attempt to document those teachings and provide a way for all Americans, Christian and non-Christian, to respond to them in repentance and faith, in order that Jesus Christ might be glorified and the nation be spared a brutal divine judgment.
Mission
The mission of Prophet Scholar is to apply the unvarnished teaching of the Bible to the sins, deceptions, and errors of the day in order to drive repentance in Americans, American Christians, and American churches.
Vision
The vision of Prophet Scholar is to see a national revival begin based on the proclamation of the full, unmitigated truth of the Bible, thereby ushering in a season of national blessing by the God of the Christian Scriptures.

Dr. Moore's Experience

Fired from two churches for preaching against the sins of the people and challenging the rebellious power brokers within the church. Both firings occurred within one year.

Fired from a Christian university for challenging the students' beliefs on homosexuality and marijuana. This firing happened in less than six weeks.

Doctoral thesis rejected at a Christian seminary because it was a "rant" against the church based on the Bible and not "scholarly research."

Founder and president of Evidence America, a non-profit ministry devoted to apologetics and evangelism training. Seven years.

Served other churches as a Sunday school teacher, deacon, and elder. Various lengths of time.
