Congregational Music and Revival—Reviving a Baptist Church, Part 11

Congregational Music and Revival

Music is critical to turning around a Baptist church. Even if we are successful in our evangelism and outreach, the type of music that is used in most Baptist churches—traditional congregational hymns—will cause our new converts to leave our churches. Baptists must change their perspective on music in order to find revival.

To help accomplish that, Dr. Moore discusses the following topics related to congregational music and revival:

  1. What the Bible says about music and musical instruments

  2. The two purposes of song lyrics

  3. Is there really an "evil" type of music?

  4. What type of music should be used in the church
